The Rubicon comes with the most capable factory spec of any Jeep off the lot: Dana 44 axles, front and rear e-lockers, disconnecting sway bars, and Fox shocks. This build treats that foundation seriously — every addition has to earn its place.
The OME BP-51 lift adds 2.5 inches to the Rubicon's already generous clearance and benefits most at slow crawling speeds where shock control matters most. Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks run at the rear for improved heat management on extended descents — the reservoir holds more oil volume, which resists fade better on consecutive downhill runs.
CBI's front winch bumper is a clean fit and positions the Warn Zeon 10-S with correct approach geometry — the winch hook sits at the right height for a straight forward pull without fairlead angle.
The Sherpa Colfax bed rack is purpose-built for the Gladiator's 5-foot bed. It keeps camp gear elevated and accessible without sacrificing tailgate function. The rack handles an RTT or cargo bags while keeping the bed floor usable for recovery gear.
Nothing on this rig is there for appearance. Every item either improves capability in a scenario the Rubicon will encounter, or makes those scenarios faster and safer to resolve. The result is a functional recovery rig that stays within the factory platform's intentions.
